Despite a series of refurbishments, the hotel has kept its Louis XIV panelling and furniture that has acquired a patina over the years with a few additions, here and there, of more modern equipment, with lighter tones to achieve a fine balance. In the summer, the flower-decked terrace, swimming pool and small enclosed garden come into their own. The Pyrenees look on invitingly, encouraging guests to come on foot or by bike.
