This château was built in 1235 by the Counts of Mâcon. Its four feudal towers, and two 18th century tours look down imperiously on a peaceful, romantic garden. The rooms are pleasant and carefully looked after, matching the warm welcome given to guests. A highlight is the "Suite du Parc", located in the tower under a gothic arch. Igé is located in South Burgundy, a land of vineyards and terroir produce, copiously used in the restaurant.
